We’re very much in celebration mode right now at Ricoh Europe. That’s because our pan-EMEA Work Together, Anywhere (WTA) sales and marketing campaign scooped the prestigious Global Top Ricoh Way Award at a ceremony in Japan! Open to the entire Ricoh Group, the award recognises the initiative that has driven the most sizeable tangible business impact while bringing our Ricoh Way values to life. In the context of our WTA campaign – a multi-layered programme designed to support customers with the tools and processes needed to innovate, engage employees, connect with their customers, and stay competitive – this includes:

Teamwork

The exceptional teamwork of the EMEA marketing and sales teams, combined with support from every function in the EMEA business, is the true hero behind the success of the WTA story. The campaign was launched at a time when businesses across the globe faced real adversity. Under extraordinary circumstances, we came together as one aligned pan-EMEA team to understand our customers’ evolving needs and transform unprecedented challenges into business opportunities. 

Customer centricity

Understanding the unique needs of our customers and creating solutions specific to those needs is at the very heart of the campaign. Even more importantly, it is the foundation of how our EMEA business operates. The campaign gave our sales teams a perfect, timely opportunity to engage with customers directly, which led to the discovery of further customer needs. This meant that WTA was able to evolve quickly thanks to our employees visiting and learning from customers working at supermarkets, hospitals, logistics organisations and many other frontlines – all of which were experiencing rapid, unprecedented change in the face of the global pandemic. 

Innovation

Every element of the campaign showed innovation and drove a shift in customer perception of Ricoh as a digital services company. Articulating our expertise has seen new and existing customers across the region benefit from innovations specifically created for hybrid workforces. This includes RICOH Spaces – a cloud-hosted workspace platform – as well as our cybersecurity offerings which detect and eliminate the latest threats before they cause any disruption.

As our extensive digital services capabilities continue to evolve and expand, so do the opportunities for our customers to grow, realise efficiencies and retain top talent. 

So, a HUGE thank you for the hard work, tenacity and resolve of our people. Despite their herculean efforts, they remain energised and excited to further support customers in their digital transformations journeys as part of our current pan-EMEA sales and marketing campaign, Leading Change at Work.
